By placing an order with Express Yardself, you agree to the following policies:

Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm/hold your reservation.

Express Yardself reserves the right to make changes to the greeting location in yard, phrasing, and set up depending on yard and weather conditions .

Please do not move the signs or allow anyone to play with, rearrange, remove or sit on the signs. You are responsible for missing or damaged display items and will be invoiced in the event of loss or damage.

Please arrange lawn services for when the signs are NOT on display as damage can occur to signs from equipment and grass clippings. Heavily soiled signs are subject to a cleaning fee.

 

Express Yardself and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any damage or injury that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up or removal of sign displays. 

 

Refunds: If you must cancel your booking, cancellation must be done at least 1 day prior to reserved date to receive a full refund. After that, you can receive a half of your rental fee or you may apply your fee to a future date (subject to availability.)  In the event of significant inclement weather that prohibits us from installing, we will refund or credit for a future date (subject to availability).

 

No refunds will be given in the event of: the client providing the wrong address; homeowners requesting us to remove the signs; denied access to a gated community; the presence of animals that prevent us from safely setting up the display; or other circumstances beyond our control.

 

Express Yardself reserves the right to end the rental period early if there is evidence of violating the terms and conditions laid out in the rental policy.

 

Helpful Things

Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm/hold your reservation.

 

Please water the yard for at least 45 minutes the evening of installation. If the ground is dry and hard, it is very difficult to place stakes deep enough into the ground to ensure that the greeting looks its best.  Sometimes, it is impossible to place stakes if the ground is too hard and the sign will have to be abbreviated and parts omitted or canceled entirely.  Please water if possible!

Please send directions if house can be difficult to find.  Sometimes, Google Maps can be wrong!  If it is a new subdivision, it might not be on navigation apps yet.  If it is in a rural area, often these areas are not well-lit which makes house numbers hard to see.

Please arrange lawn services for when the signs are NOT on display as damage can occur to signs.  Our signs are plastic, but to get grass clippings and dirt off after pickup can sometimes delay our installations for the next day.  Please be respectful and not allow them to get dirty or damaged.

 

Please be aware that this is a small business owned by a working family.  We try our best to provide the best customer service and appreciate all patience when it comes to communications, installations, and pickups.  Delivery/installations and pick up times cannot be specifically scheduled and will sometimes have to be adjusted due to unforeseen issues.  If it seems that we will be unable to meet your needs in a mutually satisfactory manner, we reserve the right to cancel and fully refund the customer.
